YOSHIWARATOKYO GUIDE by CHOCOLAT

YOSHIWARA · TOKYO

Getting here

Plan the journey in three parts: reach Tokyo, move toward the Ueno–Asakusa area, then travel to your exact destination in Yoshiwara. There is no train station inside the district.

01

Your Tokyo arrival point

Haneda Airport

Rail links run toward central Tokyo via Shinagawa or Hamamatsucho. Continue toward Ueno or another station that suits your final leg.

Narita Airport

Rail services connect with Nippori, Keisei-Ueno and Tokyo. Check the service and terminal you actually use.

Ueno & Asakusa

Ueno is a major rail hub. From Asakusa, check your exact destination before deciding between a further rail trip and a taxi.

Shinkansen & coaches

For routes from northern Japan, Ueno can be the Tokyo arrival point. From western Japan, Tokyo or Shinagawa may be your arrival point. Coach stops vary.
